THE City Government of Tagbilaran continues to enhance ease of doing business by offering a fully digital Business Permitting and Online Payment System, while simultaneously operating a Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) at City Hall for applicants who prefer face-to-face transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to City Treasurer Hubert Inas, business owners may now apply for new business permits and renewals online through the city\u2019s eBusiness Permitting and Licensing Portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The system allows for the secure online payment of business taxes and regulatory fees and provides for the issuance of an electronic copy (E-Copy) of the Business Permit, which is sent online upon completion of the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Applicants may access the portals via https:\/\/Tagbilaran.gov.ph\/ebusiness\/ for online applications and https:\/\/Tagbilaran.gov.ph\/epayment for online payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Users are required to register or log in, complete the application, upload the required documents, and pay using available payment options such as GCash or Land Bank of the Philippines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Inas added that, aside from business permitting, the online payment system also supports business renewals, Real Property Tax (RPT) payments, and Tagbilaran City Waterworks bills, significantly reducing the need for in-person transactions and contributing to a more efficient, paperless government service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Ms. Mary Christine Bitoy-Montalban, Head of the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO), clarified that a simultaneous Business One-Stop Shop is being conducted at the City Hall Atrium from January 3 to January 20, 2026, to accommodate walk-in applicants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She said that the BOSS will operate from Monday to Friday until 8:30 in the evening, and from 8:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon every Saturday, ensuring extended service hours for business owners who prefer or require face-to-face processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mayor Jane Yap welcomed the dual approach, emphasizing that the city\u2019s goal is to make government services both accessible and inclusive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
