Now, back to the crusade against corruption which we discussed last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I\u2019ve mentioned in our previous episode, there was this skeleton of a 3-storey regional office building of a national agency, unoccupied, un-used and actually a useless concrete edifice at present because of the \u201cmissing contractor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cmissing contractor\u201d was discovered only when the agency head wanted unta a \u201csoft opening\u201d April of this year of that building but first they have to secure an occupancy permit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lo and behold, dili mo-issue ang OBO kay daghan og unpaid obligation ang contractor.  When they referred the matter to the DPWH as the implementing agency, they were told nga dugay ra sila nangita sa contractor but all efforts were futile and in vain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
