But no one was hurt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The earthquake with magnitude 7.6 reportedly emanates from the epicenter in Many town, Oriental Davao at 9:43 a.m., says PhiVolcs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tremor disturbed the scheduled Gov. Aris Aumentado\u2019s State of the Province Address (SOPA) slated just minutes before the holy mass ended at the 3rd floor prior to his SOPA at the 4th floor. Capitol security officers emptied the building of any government and other personnel just as announcement to pull out the vehicles parked underneath the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At provincial Capitol building, employees and officials were advised to evacuate as some scampered for their safety. After about 20 minutes announcement was heard to get back to the Capitol and the SOPA of was delivered for over an hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per PhiVolcs-Bohol information, a magnitude 4 quake jolted this city. This prompted several towns to order the suspension of face-to-face classes in the afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But Bohol was not included in tsunami alert, according to the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Officer Anthony R. Damalerio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) has issued an advisory that it is still assessing the extent of the damage in Southeastern Mindanao, near the epicenter of the 7.6 magnitude earthquake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Power lines are unavailable in following: Davao-Toril 69kV line, Nabunturan-Asuncion 69kV line, and Nabunturan-Masara 138kV line. The 69kV lines serve parts of Davao City, Davao del Norte, and Davao de Oro. While Power transmission services in Northeastern, North Central, and Southwestern Mindanao remain stable, NGCP&nbsp; said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bohol was not spared from the magnitude 6.9 tremor that hit the northern part of Cebu on September 30, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bohol experienced and suffered for damages, including the 222 deaths and destruction of building and public infrastructure after the magnitude 7.2 quake hit on October 15, 2013.
