Anchored on the principle that the family is the most fundamental unit of society, the summit gathered beneficiaries and parents to discuss programs that address the city\u2019s pressing health needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The activity was spearheaded by City Health Officer Dr. Jeia N. Pondoc, who emphasized the importance of preventive health care and consistent family health practices to secure the overall well-being of Tagbilaranon families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was graced by First District Congressman John Geesnell \u201cBaba\u201d Yap II, who represented Mayor Jane Yap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his message, Congressman Yap assured participants that family health and well-being remain a top priority of the city government, underscoring its role in building a healthier and stronger community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participants included pregnant and post-partum mothers as well as parents of families with malnourished children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* Nutrition Program by City Nutritionist Rey Delos Santos, RN, RND<\/p>\n\n\n\n
* Family Planning Program by Ms. Marjorie F. Torculas, RN, City PopDev Coordinator<\/p>\n\n\n\n
*Environmental Program by Sanitation Inspector Ralph Albert O. Bernaldez, RN<\/p>\n\n\n\n
* Dengue & Leprosy Program by Mr. Cristopher Sergito C. Uy, RN<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the activity, food packs and hygiene kits were distributed to all participants, reinforcing the city\u2019s commitment, not only to health education but also to tangible assistance that helps ease daily burdens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
