\u201cThis bill will make cities and towns better able to save, protect, and anticipate disasters and emergencies.  It provides for technically competent people at local DRRMOs, flexibilities with calamity funds, and technical capacities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHouse Bill 833 is a comprehensive approach to Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, climate change adaptation and mitigation, and situations involving emergencies posing serious threats to life and property, and the functioning of communities and local governments.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
