BRINGING the city\u2019s services closer to its constituents, the City Government of Tagbilaran rolled out its Mobile Services initiative in barangay Cabawan on July 17, 2025, delivering vital health, legal, and civil registration assistance directly to the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The program, held under the leadership of Mayor Jane Yap and Vice Mayor Adam Relson Jala, reinforces the city\u2019s commitment to inclusive, people-centered<\/p>\n\n\n\n
governance, ensuring that essential services reach even the farthest barangays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Barangay Captain Sergio Bangalao and the barangay council welcomed the city\u2019s service teams and facilitated the day-long activity for Cabawan residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A key feature of the outreach activity was the Mobile Health Clinic, which provided free medical consultations, ECGs, blood typing, X-rays, ultrasounds, cardiac panel tests, and complete blood counts (CBCs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Complementing this was the Mobile Dental Bus, offering dental consultations and tooth extractions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Residents also availed themselves of haircuts and wellness services such as half-body massages, promoting both physical and mental wellness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Free legal consultations were also offered, including assistance in preparing and notarizing simple legal documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To address civil documentation needs, the City Civil Registrar\u2019s Office assisted residents with delayed registrations of live births and petitions for correction of clerical errors, helping ensure the legal identity of constituents is protected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mayor Yap emphasized the importance of taking services beyond the confines of government offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe are bringing City Hall to the barangays. By delivering health care, legal aid, and basic services right where people live, we make public service more accessible and compassionate,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Punong Barangay Bangalao expressed his gratitude for the initiative, saying the mobile outreach brought much-needed support to residents who often face challenges in accessing government services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Mobile Services Program will continue to tour various barangays in the coming months, with the City Government committed to expanding the reach of essential services across all corners of<\/p>\n\n\n\n
