GOVERNOR Aris Aumentado is offering P300,000 as reward to those who may or can provide accurate information leading to the arrest to those responsible in what appeared to be deliberate bumping a fishing boat that resulted to two fishers dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKung kinsa maka hatag ug information sa pp boat naka dasmag ug maka identify sa nanakay sa Pumboat naay reward 200k,\u201d<\/em> the governor\u2019s post in his facebook account said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The governor also ordered the provincial police office to conduct an immediate investigation to find out who were the culprit of the deadly incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The offer came after the two fishers were dead for allegedly fishing within the prohibited fishing ground of nearby town of President Carlos P. Garcia after their fishing boat was ramped by another pump boat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The fatalities were identified as Rene Awas Reyes a.k.a. \u201cAg-ag\u201d and Bjay Manayon, a.k.a. \u201cBodon.\u201d Both are residents of Malingin island off Bien-Unido town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The sketchy report said that a pump boat allegedly used by an identified law enforcers stormed and hit the fishing boat of the dead fishers somewhere off said island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The report based on Bien-Unido police initial findings added that the said fishing boat employed the alleged illegal method of fishing called \u201cliba-liba\u201d off the sea of said island, which is said to be within the boundary of B-Unido an CPG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In a news report of DYTR, the police of Pitogo said that there was no operations against illegal fishing at a time when the incident took place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CPG Mayor Fernando Estavilla, in his message to this writer, said that he cannot comment just yet on the incident until the investigation is over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gubernatorial bet Atty.
