The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) Central Visayas conducted the Bloggers Forum 2025 with the theme \u201cSowing Stories, Growing Communities\u201d in Loon town on April 11, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The forum, also attended by municipal agricultural officers and media representatives in Bohol, aimed to promote agriculture and extension programs of ATI-7, especially the Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSA) modality, while introducing blogging and vlogging as information sharing platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This as both blogging and vlogging offer numerous benefits, including enhanced online visibility, a platform to express creativity, and opportunities to build a community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Blogging allows for in-depth content creation with a longer shelf life, while vlogging provides a more dynamic and engaging visual format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both can also lead to income generation through various methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The participants learned about vlogging etiquette and basics and vlogging monetization strategies from Paolo M. Rigotti, a content creator, while Travel 29 founder Rowell Clenuar also shared about Shoot and Edit Fundamentals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participants are expected to apply their learnings to new ways of disseminating information through blogging\/vlogging on ATI-7 programs and farmers\u2019 success stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ATI7 project officer and AUDIO-Bohol president Doris Isabel Racho said that the forum aimed to equip the participants with the right knowledge and skills to produce quality content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe forum was enriching, highlighting the effectiveness of content creation in cascading information and addressing public concerns. Also enabling us to tailor online communication strategies accordingly,\u201d shared Shannen Caray, the municipal information officer of the local government unit of Talibon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was held in partnership with AUDIO-Bohol and the Philippine Information Agency in Bohol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The forum was held at Gazeebo de LOONdon, one of the LSAs of ATI7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reina Perez, owner of Gazeebo de LOONdon, shared that she made a life-changing decision to retire early from her work in the private sector and pursue full-time farming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today, Perez is making a significant impact on the agricultural landscape in her community as she has played a key role in strengthening and empowering two local organizations: the Rabbit Growers Association and the Loon Small Coconut Farmers\u2019 Cooperative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
