WHAT could be the reason why BBM hurriedly \u201csurrendered\u201d PRRD to the ICC authorities in The Hague?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why did the Office of the President shoulder the bill for the plane that \u201ckidnapped\u201d PRRD to The Hague when the \u201cwarrant of arrest\u201d was supposedly an ICC matter or an Interpol matter?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the premise that the fund used for the plane was sourced from BBMs confidential fund, was it legal and justified under COA rules and under Philippine laws as well?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

***<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many are wondering why indeed did BBM hurriedly \u201csurrender\u201d PRRD to the ICC, all without giving him the opportunity to exhaust his legal and constitutional rights, as well as allowing immediate members of his family to have access with him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Politically speaking, he is no longer a \u201cthreat\u201d because he is already past his political prime, in fact, he is now running as mayor of Davao City only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The real threat, and the one with the real potential to be running for president, is of course VP Sara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So why the beef against PRRD? My analysis is this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is an impending impeachment trial the result of which has tremendous significance to the 2028 presidential elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If VP Sara is convicted, she will be removed from office and she will be forever barred from running for public office. In short, she will forfeit her chance of becoming the next president of the republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So how to ensure VP Sara\u2019s conviction – make sure there are at least 16 senators voting YES. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And how to do that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, if PRRD is around, to shepherd the PDP senatoriables in their nationwide campaign, that will be mission impossible because past rallies would show that overwhelming public support for the senatoriables when PRRD was around. In contrast, BBMs appearance during Alyansa rallies was always a disaster (still remember that iconic – matay, mingaw<\/em> man from the governor of Negros Oriental?), like it\u2019s a kiss of death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To remedy that political anomaly – remove PRRD from the scene and the PDP senatoriables will be left to fend for themselves during PDP rallies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And so the seed of the plan for \u201cextraordinary rendition\u201d to The Hague was hatched, the rest is history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conclusion – if you love Inday Sara and want to save and protect her, vote straight all the PDP<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Up to now, some of the so-called \u201cimpeachment congressmen\u201d still find it hard to explain the reason behind their signing of the articles of impeachment against VP Sara. Especially those considered as \u201cclose\u201d to VP Sara either because they have become kumare<\/em> or kumpare<\/em> or because duna na silay \u201cmatagal na pinagsamahan.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reason for the difficulty is because of the realization that by signing the articles, they have untimely awakened the seemingly \u201cslumbering\u201d deep sense of loyalty and support of the people to VP Sara. Others realized too late that it was like a political hara kiri<\/em> to go against VP Sara because of her immense popularity to the masses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is evident by the terrible, and sometimes, unfair bashing they got from social media. Many of the Inday Sara loyalists have become bold and daring to come out in the open and express dismay, disappointment and frustrations arising from the act of the impeachment congressmen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some have opted to stay silent, in the hope that just like ordinary circumstance, the passage of time will ultimately heal painful wounds. Agwanta lang usa karon nga init pa kaayo ang isyo, tak-om lang usa ang baba og magpailob lang.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naturally, those who are running against local Alyansa candidates have made premium of the impeachment issue, bashing and re-bashing their political opponents for their very shameful act of betrayal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brutal verbal onslaught is calculated to awaken fresh hostilities on the impeachment issue and gain sympathetic votes from Inday Sara loyalists. Yes Virginia, they are now capitalizing on the issue and those allied with the Alyansa group can only turn their heads in abject disappointment because they are virtually at a loss for words to defend their political position. Di na lang intawon motubag, divert na lang ang issue kay lisod espilingon ang ilang i-depensa kon nganong gusto nila palagputon si Inday Sara pagka-bise presidente pinaagi sa impeachment nga wala ra ba unta silay labot kay ang ilang congressman ra man ang namirma.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bale, nadamay o napagan ra sila but wa pod silay mahimo kay ka-partido man.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If those in the opposition can sustain the awakened hatred of VP Sara Duterte loyalists until election time, then this could possibly mean bad luck for those in the administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
