THE City Government of Tagbilaran, under the leadership of Mayor Jane Yap, continues to push for innovation and improved learning environments for young learners through its digitalization efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 7, 2025, Mayor Yap, along with City Social Welfare and Development Officer Lucille Clarin and First Gentleman John Geesnell \u201cBaba\u201d Yap II, led the official turnover of 26 Smart TVs for all daycare centers in Tagbilaran City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The distribution of Smart TVs completes the initiative to provide each daycare center with modern learning tools aimed at enhancing the learning experience of daycare pupils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayor Yap emphasized that the program is part of the Yap-Jala administration\u2019s strong education agenda, which seeks to integrate technology into early childhood education, making learning more interactive and innovative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis initiative is part of our commitment to providing quality education for our children. Through these Smart TVs, we are creating a more engaging and effective learning environment for our daycare pupils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This program started under the leadership of Baba Yap, and we are continuing and expanding it to reach more children,\u201d Mayor Yap said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aside from the installation of Smart TVs, the city government\u2019s efforts to improve daycare services include providing uniforms for almost 3,000 pupils, implementing a feeding program to ensure proper nutrition, and installing air conditioning units in daycare centers to make learning spaces more conducive and comfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The turnover ceremony highlighted the city\u2019s dedication to continuously enhance and modernize its daycare centers, ensuring that young children in Tagbilaran City receive the best possible start in their education journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
