Ang Instructional Supervision ay may mga layunin na: mapabuti ang pagtuturo ng mga guro; mapataas ang kakayahan ng mga guro sa pagtuturo; mapabuti ang pagkatuto ng mga mag-aaral; at mapalakas ang pagtutulungan ng mga guro at mga mag-aaral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">&nbsp;Ang IS ay isinasagawa ng mga supervisor o mga administrator sa paaralan, at ito ay maaaring isagawa sa iba&#8217;t ibang paraan, tulad ng: pagbisita sa mga silid-aralan; pag-obserba sa mga guro; pagbibigay ng feedback at suhestiyon; pagtuturo ng mga bagong kasanayan at estratehiya; pagpapalakas ng mga programa at proyekto sa paaralan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Ang \u201cmantra\u201d ng DepEd Region VII na &#8220;Sa Siete Una ang Bata Pirme&#8221; ay nagbibigay inspirasyon sa mga pinuno sa edukasyon upang paigtingin ang sigla at pagsisikap ng mga guro sa pagpapatupad ng instruksyon bilang isang resulta ng epektibong pangangasiwa sa pagtuturo (IS), isang makapangyarihang kadahilanan sa pagpapabuti ng mga resulta sa pag-aaral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Ang DepEd SDO Bohol ay sumusuporta sa paggamit ng &#8220;RO VII Manual of Instructional Supervision&#8221;. Ang top management na pinamumunuan ni DepEd Bohol OIC SDS Fay C. Luarez, ay nag-request sa mga Education Program Supervisors (EPSvr), na sundin ang mga partikular na iskedyul para sa kanilang mga aktibidad sa pangangasiwa sa distrito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Ang EPSvr ng Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (EsP)\/ Values Education (VE)\/ Good Manners and Right Conduct (GMRC), ay nagsagawa ng mga aktibidad sa Instructional Supervision sa mga distrito ng Maribojoc, kasama si PSDS Alice C. Raganas EdD; Antequera, kasama si PSDS Ma Luisa F. Tolop; at Cortes, kasama si APSDS Zelda S. Maratas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Ang pangangasiwa sa pagtuturo ay nakatuon sa pagpapanatili at pagpapabuti ng proseso ng pagtuturo at pagkatuto sa paaralan: 1) ang papel ng tagapangasiwa sa pagtuturo ay sumusuporta, tumutulong, at nakikibahagi, sa halip na namumuno sa guro; 2) ang mabuting pangangasiwa sa pagtuturo ay nakabatay sa pilosopiya at agham.
