Erico Aristotle Aumentado in his fb page yesterday expressed his disappointment over the reported destruction of corals off Panglao island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The damaged corals were discovered by reef rangers at Napaling dive site in Barangay Tangnan off Panglao Island. It was learned that the damaged coral reefs were mostly table corals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">In his Facebook post on Saturday, Aumentado said, \u201cDako ang akong pagkadismaya, niining nahitabo sa mga corals dapit sa Barangay Tangnan Napaling, Panglao. Sayod kamo kung unsa ang atong mga paningkamot, nga mapreserbar ang atong kinaiyahan. Ug mapasalamaton kaayo ako sa tanan nga misuporta sa atong adbokasiya bahin niini.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Aumentado further warned, \u201dMakadaghan na kita mihatag og pasidaan bahin niini kay adunay silot ang pag-abuso sa atong kadagatan. Subli nako nga ipahinumdum sa tanan; ngadto sa mga turista, diveshops, divers ug kang bisan kinsa nga musulod sa atong katubigan, nga sa atong administrasyon, makusganon kita nga miduso sa pag-amping sa atong kinaiyahan, pagpanalipod sa atong kalikopan, ilabina sa mga hiyas sa atong kadagatan.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">It can be recalled that sometime in September of last year, the Estaca Snorkeling Site at the Virgin Island was closed to the public due to vandalism on corals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GOV.
