Still at alert Level 2, Bohol still could not fully open rev its economic engines as the InterAgency task Force (IATF) on coronavirus disease (COVID) has ruled that establishments with closed venues can operate only up to 50% capacity if they have fully vaccinated crew and at 70% capacity on open venues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bohol has since aimed to attain at least 80% of its population fully vaccinated against COVID to be allowed a full business operation, which should also allow the local business to recover the huge losses incurred during the three years when Bohol closed to secure its people from the disease that has since killed 681 Boholanos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Attaining the 80% vaccination accomplishment however appears tough as hesitance among prioritized individuals for vaccination remains high and the campaign to get vaccinated interrupted by calamities and the upcoming elections which could potentially trigger another spike, when people put the minimum public health standards aside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
