TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol (PIA) \u2014 The Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office VII has considered the situation in Bohol and has moved the period of filing of examination applications from April 12 to April 18, and until April 28, or until all the available slots in Bohol are filled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier, the SCS announced that it is opening the online registration portal for those Boholanos and those working in Bohol who intend to take the Professional and sub Professional Career Service Examination (CSE) Pen and Paper Test in June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The online facility assures the CSC the health and security issues arising from the massing up of people, especially when physically filing their registration and submitting the necessary documents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The CSC has earlier set the opening of the online registration portal on April 12, and this shall remain open until April 28, or until all the available examination slots are filled, whichever comes first, the CSC earlier announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But, last April 11, due to the problems brought by typhoon Agaton, the power supply which lights Bohol was cut off when a landslide in Baybay Leyte toppled and destroyed power lines, according to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In its Examination Advisory issued April 11, 2021, the CSC said it takes into consideration the situation in the entire province of Bohol which is currently experiencing unscheduled power interruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Left without power, examination applicants are hindered from getting internet connections and accessing the online registration facility, the CSC noted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This also means that even when some applicants may have internet access, they still could not consummate their examination registration until April 18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upon registering at the online facility, a document can be obtained which would act as proof of application which would be brought when one has attained the appointment schedule to submit the hard copy of the application and other documents needed for the completed registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Moreover, the commission also reminded that the Tagbilaran City Testing Center would only accommodate examination applicants who reside in Bohol or those who are currently employed in Bohol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And finally, the CSC in Bohol stressed that it will not ne accepting walk in applicants, to ensure the health and safety of all concerned and to prevent the spread of Coronavirus disease (COVID) and its variants. (rahc\/PIA-7\/Bohol)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
