The On-going construction of the covered court in San Isidro Elementary School funded by Tagbilaran City\u2019s Special Education Fund (SEF).<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

TAGBILARAN City maximized the use of its Special Education Fund (SEF) by completing the multi-purpose covered courts in the city. To date, the covered courts in San Isidro and Dao Elementary School are currently under construction, while eleven (11) covered courts are already completed to wit, Dampas Elementary School, Tagbilaran City Science High School, Mansasa Elementary School, Bool Elementary School, Tagbilaran City Central Elementary School, Manga National High School, Manga Elementary School, Ubujan Elementary School, San Isidro National High School, Eastern Cogon Elementary School, and City East Elementary School. From Php25 million in 2012, the SEF of Tagbilaran City ballooned to Php85 million this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

City Mayor John Geesnell \u201cBABA\u201d Yap is thankful to the taxpayers in the city for the unwavering compliance,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe taxes which are religiously paid by our constituents are helping our educational programs in Tagbilaran, either by providing sound infrastructure or equipment to both our public elementary and high schools. We are grateful to the trust, support, and commitment of our taxpayers. Truly, they make governance a shared responsibility,\u201d Mayor Yap emphasized.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rehabilitation of 8 public schools in Tagbilaran City which incurred damage due to Typhoon Odette will also be given priority this year. The repair and rehabilitation of Cabawan Elementary School, City East Elementary School, Mansasa Elementary School, Tagbilaran City Central Elementary School, including its SPED Center, Taloto Elementary School, Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School, and Tagbilaran City Science High School will be done. It will also include the repair of 55 classrooms and replacement of 16 classrooms in City East Elementary School and Tagbilaran City Central Elementary School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aside from these initiatives, the SEF also covered the payment of 60 utility and clerk job orders and 10 city paid teachers.
