THE Sanguniang Panlalawigan of Bohol is having a new member in the person of Dionisio Joseph \u201cDJ\u201d Valmores Balite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPresident Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has appointed Dionisio Joseph V. Balite as a Member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan for the Province of Bohol, under the Department of the Interior and Local Government,\u201d Presidential Communications Office said in fb post of Balite\u2019s mother Russel Valmores Balite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an exclusive interview, DJ Balite confirmed his appointment but has not received yet a hard copy of the said appointment. He may assume office on Tuesday\u2019s session of the provincial board as long as he has the said copy of his appointment, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DJ Balite was chosen as SP member after the demise of his father, the late Vice-Gov. Dionisio Victor Ancog Balite on July 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then a vacuum took place in the provincial board since senior BM Tita Virtudazo Baja assumed the posts of the vice-governor and Balite\u2019s appointment is to complete the required ten regular members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Balite is to serve an unexpired term of a regular BM until June 30, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
