(rvo)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"\">PANGLAO, Bohol \u2013 Taking active part for the 5150 triathlon and Go for Gold Sunrise sprint held here today (July 14), actor and triathlete Paolo Pascual is here to help promote wellness and active lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">He was fielding question, along with Matteo Guidicelli, Panglao Mayor Boy Arcay, Epraim Bomediano, representing Dauis Mayor Roman Bullen, during the press conference held at the pavilion of the posh Bellevue Beach Resort with resort manager Andrew Fernandez attending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">\u201cAt SunLife, we are committed to empowering Filipinos on their health and wellness journey,\u201d said chief client and marketing officer of SunLife Philippines Carla Gonzales-Chong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Powerball Vice-President for marketing Jeremy said, \u201cSprint races represent more than just a race, it embodies our commitment to promoting a healthy, active lifestyle and fostering a sense of community among all participants.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Mayor Arcay and Bomediano welcomed the visitors and expressed support to the sporting event. Mayor Arcay reminded the triathletes to take good care of the environment and avoid damage of the corals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Fernandez said that this year\u2019s 5150 triathlon and Go for Gold Sunrise sprint episode is likely to bring in more earnings, not only for the resort he manages, but to the community, and not only the experience, but even a pasalubong the visitors may do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The 5150 Bohol consists of a 1.5-kilometer swim, a 40-km bike race and a 1-km run expected to be participated in by over 800 triathletes in action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Also known as Olympic distance, the triathlon will start early in the morning tomorrow at the shores of Bellevue resort, then towards the straight-forward bike course onto Dauis-Panglao and Fonacier road. Going back to the Bellevue resort to the run leg, the course is relatively flat with paved roads and some country roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The Bellevue resort has been 5150 Bohol\u2019 partner since 2014, its press statement said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">\u201cAs triathlon continues to be one of the largest and most popular sports in the country, we are proud to continue to host what participants look forward to as the race-cation venue of the year,\u201d Bellevue resort managing director Dustin Chan said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">This year\u2019s participants are expected to rise to over 800 registered entrants, larger than last year\u2019s over 600.
