JUSTICE MAXINO & MR. OGINO<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

THE Executive Justice and Chairman of the 18th Division of the Cebu-based Court of Appeals Visayas Station, Justice Pamela Ann Abella Maxino and Japanese businessman, Mr. Norio Ogino, Chairman of the Ogino Group of Companies, will address the graduates and their parents during the 74th Commencement Exercises of BIT-IC Tagbilaran City on July 13, 2024 and July 14, 2024, respectively, all at 1 o\u2019clock in the afternoon at the Bohol Cultural Center, Tagbilaran City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The large number of graduates and the need to shorten the proceedings have prompted the school administration to hold two successive graduation rites, thus the need for two commencement speakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Justice Maxino earned her BS in Chemistry and Law degrees at Silliman University in Dumaguete City. After becoming a lawyer, Justice Maxino devoted her professional career in government service. She first started out in the Court of Appeals as a legal researcher, then Court Attorney and Division Clerk of Court. She joined the prosecution service as State Prosecutor. Not long thereafter, she was appointed as Municipal Trial Court Judge Branch 1 in Guagua, Pampanga. Then, less than 3 years after, she was promoted as Regional Trial Court Judge of Branch 51 also in Guagua, Pampanga. She served as Executive Judge in the RTC for 4 continuous terms until her appointment as Associate Justice of the Court of Appeals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Justice Maxino also taught Law in San Sebastian College of Law in Manila, in Guagua National Colleges in Guagua, Pampanga, at Liceo de Cagayan University College of Law in Cagayan de Oro City and lately, in the University of Cebu College of Law in Cebu City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is also a lecturer of the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Seminar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is now on her 13th year as an appellate court justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Japanese businessman Norio Ogino is no stranger to BIT-IC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For many years now, Ogino has been involved in a student-exchange program involving Engineering students who undergo several months of intership program in different Japanese companies in Japan under the Ogino Group of Companies. This includes a learning experience of Japanese technology and skills and Japan\u2019s unique culture and tradition as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The internship covers free board and lodging for the interns for the entire duration of the program, plus generous allowance per student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Depending on their individual performance, the interns also get a good chance at future employment in various Japanese companies after the internship program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a recent discussion with the school officials, Ogino hinted of possible linkages for other programs in other Japanese companies in the near future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is for this reason that the school administration thru its President Atty. Dionisio D.
