(Photo from MDRRMO \u2013 Sibonga)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"\">THE Philippine Coast Guard sub-station with the help of Bantay Dagat team successfully rescued the half-submerged motorized boat that capsized on June 20 within the vicinity waters off Mantatao island, Calape town due to unfavorable weather condition, press statement of the PCG said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Based on the initial investigation, the motorbanca, Five Brothers MBCA, was coming from Sibonga, Cebu enroute to Mantatao Island, Calape, Bohol, it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The PCG received an info from Coast Guard in Sibonga, Cebu about the capsized boat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The rescued passengers are now safe and in good condition, PCG said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The passengers are Federico Flores, 72; Desiderio Flores, 42; Devonne Flores, 15; Dereck Flores, Sarah Sacedon, 48, Atis Flores, 78 all residents of Mantatao, Calape, Bohol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">CDN digital quoted authorities that the group came from Sibonga after attending the interment of a relative but on their return trip to Mantatao in Calape town, Bohol, they reportedly encountered giant waves which capsized the pump boat they were in.
