PUBLIC satisfaction with President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., has plunged to -8 in the latest Social Weather Stations-trained Bohol Poll survey, six days before two years in the service on May 10.  This is considered as \u201cpoor\u201d in SWS parlance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marcos got +61% in April-May 2023 survey, hence, he nose-dived about 69 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Vice-President and DepEd secretary Sara Duterte\u2019s satisfaction rating is \u201cvery good\u201d with a net +62, which is lower than she got last year at +75, or 13 point down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duterte got a \u201cgreat majority\u201d at +74% satisfied wither performance and 8% were dissatisfied and some 22% were undecided, the poll said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Class E of the respondents gave Duterte an overwhelming net approval of 85%; 82% of the 18-24 age group; and 71% from the third district. Tagbilaran City gave her the lowest net approval rating of 30%, the survey said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOne-third (35%) of them (respondents) were satisfied of his (BBM) performance while a slight plurality (43%) were dissatisfied which resulted in a net (-8). Undecided was 22%,\u201d Bohol Poll said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marcos\u2019 rating was the only in negative achieved by any officials, local or national, after the Bohol Poll started the survey in March 23 to April 22, 2024, which was publicly presented by Holy Name University\u2019s Center for Research and Publications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The president got net positive response from 2nd district and class E at +8 and +23, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rest of variables are all in the net negative and the highest from urban at -24 and the lowest is -1 from age group 16-24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The public presentation was held at the Holy Name University secondary audio visual hall with acting vice-president for admin Brother Mark Paglicawan, SVD, University president Fr. Ruel F. Lero, SVD and VP for academic affairs Fr. Ramilo V. Mapaye, SVD in closing remarks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
