THE City Government of Tagbilaran, under the leadership of Mayor Jane Yap, demonstrated its commitment to the safety and well-being of its personnel by providing the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) employees personal protective equipment (PPE) on April 8, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative aims to ensure that frontline workers are adequately equipped to carry out their duties in various emergency situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayor Yap personally led the turnover ceremony, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing the safety of personnel who are tasked with responding to disasters and emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The safety and well-being of our city personnel are paramount, especially those who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe and clean. We recognize the invaluable contributions of our frontline workers and remain dedicated to supporting them in every possible way”, Mayor Yap said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to equipping the CDRRMO with necessary protective gear, Mayor Yap also spearheaded the distribution of uniforms to other essential city personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last month, street sweepers and garbage collectors of the Solid Waste Management Office received uniforms to enhance their visibility and safety while carrying out their duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, employees of the Tagbilaran City Traffic Management Office and the Active Local Emergency Response Team were also beneficiaries of the uniform distribution initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These uniforms not only contribute to a sense of professionalism among personnel but also serve as essential attire for their safety and protection during their daily tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayor Yap’s proactive efforts in providing essential equipment and uniforms to city personnel underscore the City Government’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of its<\/p>\n\n\n\n

workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
