The cost of damage could still rise when some towns report diligently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The damage wreaked havoc on rice with 97%; corn, 2.30%; and high value crops, 0.16%, the report said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Clarin town incurred a total of P16,735,208.00, the highest, so far. This followed by Carmen town, P15,503,360.00; Calape, P5,654,428.00; San Miguel, P5,416,260.00; and Bien-Unido town, P4,873,174.00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Other towns, Trinidad, P2,742,446.00; Valencia, P2,207,180.00; Catigbian, P1,476,234.00; Sevilla, P480,850.00 and President Carlos P. Garcia, P150,480.00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Quirog told weekly Capitol Reports that over 123 hectares of planted farms will have zero chance of recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Provincial veterinarian Dr. Stella Marie Lapiz said Bien-Unido reported that livestock deaths due to heat stroke \u201ca number of incidents on heat stroke symptoms in livestock across the province have been recorded.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Governor Aris Aumentado reactivated the El Ni\u00f1o task force after PAGASA pronouncements of El Ni\u00f1o last year to deal with the heat phenomenon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
