On its 8th year, the local newspaer was awarded by the Philippine Press Institute (PPI) as Best in Editorial Page among all community newspapers in the country becoming the first newspaper in the province to clinch such a coveted award from respected peers in the field of journalism. The same year, the paper also got final nomination as one of the Best Edited newspaper from among the community newspapers in the country. The paper today has evolved into one of Bohol\u2019s leading voices in demanding transparency and accountability among government officials and employees.
